Raja Petra Kamarudin arrested again




This week, the Malaysian Police are extremely efficient. On Monday, they blocked the city to prevent potential protesters and demonstrators from entering certain part of Kuala Lumpur.

Yesterday, the Malaysian Police arrested Anwar Ibrahim, the leader of Pakatan Rakyat for sodomy related case and for scaring that Anwar may not turn up at the Police station.

Today, the Malaysian Police arrested Raja Petra Kamarudin, the owner of Malaysia-Today for his over-sentive Statutory Declaration.

Next on the arrest list could be Mahathir Mohamad (the ex-PM of Malaysia is now a rogue and a pain to Barisan Nasional's back side).

Raja Petra arrested

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia Today editor Raja Petra Kamarudin was arrested Thursday morning under Section 500 of the Penal Code for criminal defamation, and is now on the way to the Jalan Duta Courts to be charged.

The charge was being made over his June 18 statutory declaration on the murder of Mongolian translator Altantuya Shaariibuu.

In the declaration, Raja Petra claimed to have knowledge that two lieutenant-colonels and Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Najib Tun Razak's wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor were present when Altantuya's body was blown up on Oct 19, 2006.
