Michael Chick goes back to old Arabic maps to find that Tanah Melayu was actually called Barr Chin or Tanah China . So who is the Pendatang? Even our famous Professor of History does not know this as he only refers to English texts. A shame, isn't it?

We hear UMNO's cries for “Brain Gain”, caused by excruciating “Brain Drain”, in the wake of hundreds of thousands of Malaysians who are fleeing their country. We've heard the many alleged reasons provided from both sides of the fence. One of the strongest seems to be the fact that UMNO is asking all “pendatangs” to leave the country if they are not happy.

Well, Robert Kwok certainly did just that. And along with him, his entire businesses worth billions in “Tax Drain”. BTN has also been copiously assisting, by enthusiastically brainwashing simple minds into thinking that “Tanah Melayu” is reserved for Orang Melayu. Of course, they quickly tell you that anyone can become an Orang Melayu by speaking, dressing, and behaving like one (whatever that means, who knows?).
Well, UMNO managed to achieve one thing. The BTN-type morons, and their predecessors, have been overwhelmingly successful in brainwashing todays' 27 million citizens. Who says that the Peninsular was ALWAYS called “Tanah Melayu”? This is a recent British Term!! Let me dedicate this Article to the foremost “so-called reknown Historian” of the country. Prof Dr Emeritus Khoo Khay Khim (and anyone else who claims to be as competent in History as well).
Prior to “Tanah Melayu” being a British Tag in the 19th century, the peninsular was formerly known as Malacca in the 15th century. The newly-renamed book “Sejarah Melayu” (previously known as “Asal-Usul Raja-Raja”) mentions every other place from India to China , including the tiny-speck-of-dirt called Temasik EXCEPT “Tanah Melayu”. Why was Tanah Melayu NEVER MENTIONED in Sejarah Melayu? Simple!! Because that was not it's name!!
Tanah Melayu was NEVER the name until the British came and colonized the Peninsular.

Since UMNO has a habit of believing that “whatever is older is better”, let's take a short walk down this slippery slope of history. (Also, BTN-Baru syllabus planners should start taking notes.)
For starters, “Malaya ” in Tagalog means “Peaceful” (go ask your Pinoy maid).
“Malai” means “Hill” in Tamil; as in “mini-Himalaya” to describe the Titiwangsa Range on the said Peninsular since the 2nd century by the Gujerati Traders who helped the local Malays set up their formidable Hindu Empire at Lembah Bujang.

Only in the 19th Century was The Peninsular known as “Tanah Melayu”.
In the 15th Century, the Peninsular was known by no other name than “The Malacca Peninsular”.
Before “that Rebel-Indonesian Guy” came over here (look, he wanted to kill his own father; what else do you want me to call Parameswara?), the Peninsular was known as “Barr Kra” in the 10th Century. Before that, the Peninsular was known as the “Golden Chersonese” since the 2nd Century.
“Golden Chersonese is the ancient name to refer to the Malay Peninsula by Claudius Ptolemy or Claudius Ptolemaeus (Greek: ; c. 90 – c.. 168). Known in English as Ptolemy, he was a Greek-speaking geographer, astronomer, and astrologer. During Roman times, the Malay Peninsula developed an international reputation as a source of gold; hence the name was given.”
By the way, “Barr” simply means “Land” in the Persian Language. And Barr Kra above, means “ Land of Kra ” (as in reference to the Isthmus of Kra ).
But I've saved the best for last, as usual. And I hope all you soon-to-be “Brain Gain” people are sitting down reading this ....
The earliest known Arabic Maps refer to the Peninsular as “Barr CHIN”.
Where Chin refers to CHINA ! Why did the Arabs call this Peninsular “Tanah China” instead of “Tanah Melayu”? When Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. spoke about “Exotic Tanah China ”, was he actually refering to Malaya ? After all, according to records, Malayan Gold Mines was already famous 500 years BEFORE the Prophet was born!! As his wife, Khadijah was a Great Trader. He must have known!
Footnote: Chin is spelt “Xin” by the Portuguese, but always pronounced as Chin.
Alright, it's now public!! The oldest known Arab Maps called the Peninsular “Barr Chin”; which translates to “Tanah China ”, or “ Land of Chinese ”. BTN can now implement this new found knowledge into their syllabus. You cannot deny that you don't know it now! Perhaps if you spoke Hokkien, dressed like a Hokkien, and practised Hokkien Customs, the Hokkiens might be gracious enough to accept you. Sounds absurd? Absolutely; and so does the other “Great Race-Changing Trick” practised by UMNO. And I quote Prof Dr Anthony Milner (ANU), “If it's so easy to join a race, it must be equally easy to 'un-join' that race ...”
Alright, Prof Khoo, your turn now ...
This will be the first exercise in “Brain Gain” which UMNO is allegedly proposing, for the greater good of 1Malaysia; plus, I'll even give you a hint: (because I'm nice and assume that you actually really, really, really, don't know ....)
It's a Dark Green Hardcover Book about an inch thick; usually reserved for Academicians like yourself. So you won't find it in Popular, MPH, Wiki, Amazon or any Pasar Malam. I'm sure that Great Historians like yourself, have your own Jstor Account number.
Unfortunately, it's written in English, so UMNO people cannot possibly understand it; because, as they say it so eloquently, “...that English sounds like strange babbling ....” So be nice, Prof, and please translate it for them. And in my best Manglish, “Can translate or not? Please?”

Astro All Asia Networks or ASTRO is changing its logo for the third time but is hitting a snag. Singapore's MediaCorp News alleged that ASTRO newest logo (in the shape of red triangle) is similar to its TV news channel Channel NewsAsia (CNA).

SINGAPORE, March 10 – Two broadcasters are battling it out here – not on the airwaves, but in the Singapore High Court. The bone of contention: a red triangular logo.
In 2003, Malaysia-based Astro All Asia Networks, as part of a rebranding exercise, sought to register a triangular logo, with its name underneath, as a trademark here.
Astro, listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange, provides direct-to-home satellite TV services in Malaysia and Brunei, and is also a leading radio broadcaster and publisher of magazines in Malaysia.
MediaCorp News, which owns and manages TV news channel Channel NewsAsia (CNA), opposed the move, arguing that Astro's logo is similar to CNA's mark, which was registered in 2000.
But after a hearing last year, the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) dismissed its opposition. Principal assistant registrar Anne Loo found that while the logos are visually and conceptually similar, the similarities are not likely to confuse the public.
Yesterday, MediaCorp appealed to the High Court against the IPOS decision. Its lawyer, Wun Rizwi, pointed to the similarities in the logos – both are red and are triangular designs meant to symbolise a capital “A” – though he said he would not go so far as to say that Astro was trying to ride on CNA's reputation.
But Astro's lawyer, Max Ng, argued that the logo should be construed as a whole - his client's logo includes two swirls and its name at the bottom.
Justice Lee Seiu Kin will give his decision at a later date.

Idris Jala or rather Malaysia Airlines (MAS) has barely pass the test in the financial report card submitted to Bursa Malaysia. MAS make fewer millions for last year.
Malaysia Airline System Bhd (MAS), despite the challenging times that has seen a number of airlines going bust, has posted a net profit of RM46 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2008 (Q4).
Profit was 81% lower than the same quarter in 2007 due to the challenging environment compounded by volatile oil prices and slowing demand.
Revenue came in at RM3.70 billion.
For the corresponding period, it had reported a net profit of RM241.92 million on the back of RM4.07 billion in revenue.
The company reported Thursday that Q4’s profit was the tenth quarter of profits for the airline after it instituted changes backed by dynamic pricing, managing costs and innovation.

Checking for the latest news on slow Streamyx Internet connection? No news is good news? It's the opposite for Streamyx subscribers. No news meant no progress. Same old story. Streamyx still suck. Screamyx is driving me crazy lately!!
Connectivity for ping sensitive things like online gaming, streaming, ventrilo, etc. will suffer. Websites taking forever to load. Downloads were not possible.
Restoration time not known eventhough TM has announced that their restoration has been completed in Jan 2009! Insiders from TM suggested it is not. The connection restoration to normal bandwidth will "probably" be completed by end of this month.
In the meantime, forget about logging to Facebook, uploading photos to your Flickr gallery. Forget about Torrent, BitComet, LimeWire, YouTube Downloader for a while.
I for one, is really tempted to ask Steamyx, please roll over and die asap.

In December 2008, TM Streamyx connection was slow due to the disruption of their Internet services caused by circuit fault on the Southeast Asia – Middle East – Western Europe 4 (SMW4) submarine cable network between Palermo (Southern Italy) and Alexandria (Northern Egypt) linking Malaysia to Europe.
On January 06, 2009, Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) announced to her customers that the restoration works on the Southeast Asia – Middle East – Western Europe 4 (SMW4) submarine cable network between Palermo (Southern Italy) and Alexandria (Northern Egypt) linking Malaysia to Europe, has been fully completed.
However, come February 2009, TM Streamyx connection still sucks and frequently disconnected. Apparently their technology infrastructure still sucks.

Hello Chinese and all Malaysian, this year you will be celebrating your 2009 Chinese New Year in a recession. For some of you, it may be your first recession.
Your parents, may be out of work soon.
Hell, you may be out of work soon.
What can you do? Here are some suggestions.
1. You also do not need 3 sets of new clothes. Please spend wisely.
2. Cutback drastically on non-essentials like bak kwa and mandarin oranges which are bad for health anyway. If you get sick, you have to spend even more money on hospital bills. In fact, in Malaysia, poor people cannot afford to get sick.
3. Adjust your expectations. Some of you may be bruising over the fact that you did not receive a company red packet or bonus. Just be glad you still have a job. You are not a unique and indispensable snowflake.
4. Have a home-cooked reunion dinner. Skip fancy restaurants and the like of KFC and McD. Stock up lots of Maggie mee. Eat less eggs unless you can rears some chicken at your backyard.
5. Tell your bank that you wish to repay the principle on the housing loan not the interest. If your interest is calculated on daily rest (ask your loan officer), pay your housing loan every week (divide it by 4) instead of every month to payup your loan faster. In fact, Bank Negara allowed commercial bank to introduce monthly loan repayment instead of weekly repayment. Why? So Malaysian commercial bank can make more profits.
6. Take all the red packet money you received, and donate it to a local charity. Make sure you get a receipt so you can use it to reduce your personal income tax.
7. If you boss tells you to work during the holidays, you bleeding work. And don’t whinge or whine. Be grateful you still have a job.
8. Forget about buying original CD or DVD. Get the ciplak version from the night market.
9. Reduce your traveling and car pool if possible. But you don't have to use our public transports because it sucks.
10. Reduce your beer intake. If you still want to drink, go to kopitiam and order beers there. It's much cheaper drinking beers and kopitiam.
For those of you who don’t think they will be impacted by the recession, spare a thought for the less fortunate members of society. Donations of cash, rice, canned sardine and edible items and other items will be greatly appreciated by folk who have nothing to celebrate.

Tudung-clad teens who are hooked on sex. That's the column title which appeared in The Star/Metro e-paper and has become the most-viewed column.
There are two common views on this topic. First, the column try to project that tudung-clad teens are sex-maniac. Maybe to a couple few. And the core of the problem is not lack of religion but poor education system and parental monitoring and guidance. I'm sure she was corrupted at the young age due to the couldn't-care-less attitude of her parent.
Secondly, judging from the rating on the column as most-viewed, The Star/Metro is again selling cheap sex (topic) to gain readership. Aren't there better newsworthy column that The Star can published. Or is The Star/Metro editors still in the cuti mood? I think the editors are tad-bit-malas for letting this junk column to be published.

A GROUP of Muslim tudung-clad girls were not ashamed to say they were no longer virgins, with some admitting they became pregnant at 15, Metro Ahad reported.
Some even said they lost their virginity at the age of 10, while others claimed they had multiple sex partners.
They also told Metro Ahad they would ostracise schoolmates who were still virgins.
A 15-year-old from Johor told the paper she first had sex with her boyfriend when in Year Five and was now “addicted to sex.”
“When I was in Form Three I started changing partners, and have done it with two guys at once,” she told the tabloid.
Another 15-year-old girl from Selangor told the paper the term “pure” or virgin did not exist between her friends and her.
“What is wrong if my friends and I want some fun and have sex while we are still young? ,” she told the tabloid.

Connecting to Internet using Streamyx from home is slow. Connecting to the Internet from Office using Streamyx is slow. Cybercafe Streamyx slow, college Streamyx slow, kopitiam Streamyx also slow, warung mamak Streamyx lagi slow. Don't fret. Don't grumble. The submarine cable (or undersea) telco cable linking Malaysia and Europe is undergoing restoration until Jan 04, 2009.
As usual, press statement from Talikom Malaysia (TM) is also vague as the slowness of their Streamyx line. TM does not states whether the submarine cable is belong to them or cable sewa.
Don't bother to call their 100 number either because it will be too busy. You won't get the answer. So the most you can do until Jan 04, 2008 is to bear with the slow connection. But remember, don't put all your blames to TM. It's Malaysian surfer who hog the line.
Biasa lar orang Malaysia suka sangat download file percuma. Like ripped songs, pirated movies, pirated series and video streaming 24hr a day even if they are not in front of their computer. That's my friends, is the typical habit of Malaysian Internet users. Using Streamyx line to the fullest to download illegal files and caused the bandwidth to be insufficient (even during normal days).

TM: Full recovery of Internet services on Jan 4
KUALA LUMPUR: Telekom Malaysia Bhd said on Tuesday there was a delay in the restoration of Internet services following technical problems in repairing the submarine cable network linking Malaysia to Europe.
“Due to the delay, full recovery of Internet services is now expected to be on Jan 4, 2009,” TM said in a statement.
On Dec 20, TM said the disruption of its Internet services was due to circuit fault on the Southeast Asia – Middle East – Western Europe 4 (SMW4) submarine cable network between Palermo (Southern Italy) and Alexandria (Northern Egypt) linking Malaysia to Europe.
TM said there was a delay in the restoration of Internet services due to technical problems at the repairing stages.
It added that customers using Internet services might continue to experience slow browsing while accessing websites hosted in Europe.
Customers using other IP services such as Virtual Private Network (VPN) and other critical business applications linked to Europe may also experience some service degradation.
“To alleviate the problem, some of the links have been rerouted to alternate routes to ease the congestion,” it said.
TM assured its customers that it was undertaking all necessary measures to restore communications services for its customers as soon as possible.
Customers can call TM at 100 and select “Internet Services” or e-mail us at help@tm.com.my for any Internet related problems.

Nordin bin Montong from Kampung Sambir, Kuching, Sarawak who succumbed to his injuries due to mauling by three white tigers at the Singapore Zoo was alleged to have an erratic behavior before the incident.
Could it be his erratic behavior (sign of suicide) is caused by his poor living conditions in Singapore or was he short-changed by his employer? There are reported cases of contract workers from Sarawak who were cheated by recruitment companies who bring them to Singapore with a promise of high pay but end up not getting their pay, improper living condition and so on ?

KUCHING, Nov 15 (Bernama) -- Contract worker Nordin Montong, who was killed after being mauled by three white tigers at the Singapore zoo on Thursday, had telephoned his family in Sarawak a day earlier to ask about his parents' condition.

His eldest sister, Nora, 34, said her brother last contacted the family on Wednesday, during which he also mentioned about wanting to return home in February next year after saving enough money to marry his girl friend.
She said Nordin, 32, the second of six siblings, went to Singapore to work as a contract worker in June after reading a job advertisement in the newspapers.
"There was nothing unusual with him when he called, except to ask about our parent's condition," she said when met at her house at Kampung Tabuan here today.
Nordin's body arrived at the MasKargo terminal of the Kuching International Airport at about 3pm.
His father, Monton Sahom, 54, and mother, Baduyah Ahad, 50, as well as close relatives were at the airport to receive the body, which would be buried at the Muslim cemetery at Kampung Sambir here later today.
Nordin was attacked by the tigers after he allegedly jumped into the moat at the white tiger exhibit at the zoo at about 12.15pm.

Zoo cleaner behaved erratically
SINGAPORE: Nordin Montong, a 32-year-old cleaner from Sarawak, had behaved erratically shortly before the tiger attack on Thursday afternoon which killed him.
He was seen shouting and flinging items about. He later vaulted a low wall and landed in a moat in the enclosure, four metres below.
Carrying a yellow pail and a broom, he then crossed the 1.75 metres-deep moat, walked up a rocky ledge near where three white tigers were and began provoking them by swinging the broom.
One of the tigers then swiped at Nordin, to the horror of the gawking and frightened crowd at the enclosure. Some even assumed it was part of the zoo show, until the huge cat started sinking its teeth into the back of the cleaner’s neck and tossed him around repeatedly like a ragdoll.
They mauled him with their huge paws for about two minutes, as the crowd screamed and cringed in horror.
Blood could be seen oozing from Nordin’s back. The cleaner struggled and thrashed his legs about and became still about five minutes later.
More than a dozen zookeepers went to Nordin’s rescue. They managed to distract the big cats and shooed them back into their den.
The Singapore Zoo had stepped up patrols on its grounds.
It had also asked its zookeepers, staff and visitors to be alert about erratic and abnormal behaviour in the animals, and to report this immediately.
The three white tigers also appeared to be “stressed out” by the incident, said Mr Biswajit Guha, assistant director of the Zoo.
“Their ears are perked up and their breathing are quicker than normal. We are trying to keep their routine as normal as possible to help calm them.
“The tigers are being kept inside their den, behind the enclosure and away from public view,” he told The Straits Times. As a precautionary measure, the zoo has temporarily closed the White Tiger exhibit.
Meanwhile, the contractor who employed the cleaner said yesterday it would pay for the cleaner’s embalming and transportation to send his body back to his family in Kuching. Undertaker Roland Tay told The Straits Times, he would donate the payment from the contractor to Nordin’s family.
He said the body would be flown to Sarawak today.
Zookeepers interviewed by The Straits Times yesterday said Nordin looked troubled on Thursday morning and was not his “normal friendly” self.
A fellow cleaner, Clement Ijau, 27, also from Sarawak, who lived in the same workers’ quarters as Nordin in Serangoon, said he looked upset early on Thursday and ignored the other workers in the quarters. — The Straits Times / Asia News Network

AGENCIES RECRUITING SARAWAK WORKERS TO BE PUT INDER THE MICROSCOPE
MIRI, Nov 15 (Bernama) -- Employment agencies recruiting workers from Sarawak to work in Singapore will be monitored more closely following a spate of complaints that they are shortchanging recruits.
Deputy Human Resource Minister Datuk Noraini Ahmad said from September to December last year the ministry received 170 complaints while from January to September this year the number of complaints stood at 374.
Speaking to reporters after opening the Sarawak-level Job Fair 2008 here today, she said these were genuine complaints.
The complaints mostly involved salaries paid were not as promised, terms of employment differing from what was stipulated in their contracts and poor living conditions, she said, adding that the close monitoring would also be extended the ministry's Electronic Labour Exchange (ELX) at www.jobsmalaysia.gov.my. to prevent abuse.

Nordin bin Montong aged 32 died from his neck and body injuries as a result of mauling by three white tigers at the Singapore Zoo yesterday. Authority from the Singapore Zoo has notified his family in Sarawak.
Nordin had been working at the zoo for about 4 1/2 months, had been behaving strangely minutes before the incident. He might not be himself and police are ruling out fouled-play and short of confirming that it was a suicide act either.

It can be observed that Malaysian fertilizer consumption has steadily increased. This can be attributed to the changes in the Malaysian agricultural scenario. As more rubber areas were replanted with oil palm, the fertilizer requirement was also increased as oil palm requires more nutrients than rubber. In addition, new land were planted mainly with oil palm.
However, prices of fertilizers has not be controlled properly even though Malaysia has some of the biggest fertilizers producers in the region, like the Asean Bintulu Fertilizer in Bintulu.
ASEAN BINTULU FERTILIZER (ABF) PLANT
The anhydrous ammonia and granular urea plant is operated by the Asean Bintulu Fertilizer Sdn. Bhd. (ABF). It was established on December 6, 1980. The company is a joint venture of five Asean countries namely Malaysia (63.5% share), Thailand (13%), Indonesia (13%), Philippines (9.5%) and Singapore (1%).
The 63.5% Malaysia share of ABF is actually owned by PETRONAS.
The company commenced its commercial operations on October 1, 1985. Built at a cost of around RM700 million, ABF is among the largest granular urea plants in Asia.

MT is far from scandalous. If BN think MT is a threat, it should think deeply before it commit to any policies and flip-flop decisions. BN run media are also slack, usually delivering late news, one-sided story, half-factual and purely pro-government.

Malaysia’s Anwar Wins Convincingly
Can the opposition leader translate electoral success into a parliamentary majority?
Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim staged a dramatic comeback Tuesday with a victory in a by-election that puts him again at the heart of Malaysian politics. With his apparent return to parliament, he has taken the first step toward his promised ouster of the ruling Barisan Nasional coalition as prime minister.
The former deputy prime minister has vowed to take power for the opposition on September 16 by luring ruling coalition lawmakers to his side.
Anwar won about 60 percent of the votes in his rural northern district in Penang in a vote seen as a crucial test of ethnic loyalty in a country where race has long been the determining factor in political success. He soundly drubbed his opponent, Arif Shah Omar Shah, the candidate of the United Malays National Organisation, in a lurid campaign in which a variety of UMNO officials charged him with being a lackey of the United States and world Jewry in addition to having committed sodomy with a former aide.

Anwar's People's Justice Party said he is expected to win at least 70 percent of Tuesday's vote for a seat in Parliament. Anwar is pitted against the governing National Front coalition's Arif Shah Omar Shah in Permatang Pauh.
Tian Chua, an official of the Justice Party, told The Associated Press that there is "firm indication of a landslide victory for Anwar."
Chua says the voters have given "a sound endorsement to Anwar." He says Anwar is expected to get at least 70 percent of the vote.

Yeah, I just need to rant about it since Streamyx slow syndrome is back. Since early July, my Streamyx connection has been darn slow even with 1M bandwidth. And not only slow, but frequent disconnection.
PC is all clean from virus, trojan and malwares. PC is firewalled. PC got ample memory. Cable all good. Everything okay except for the Streamyx connection.
Complaining to TM 100 centre, and the support guys asked me to reset my modem, plug out plug in cable and they even reset their port. After that, my Streamyx connection resumed but for a while get disconnected again.
Make another call to TM 100 centre, same story from the support guys until they give up and told me that my PC is infected. My foot ! Definitely is not my PC problem but their infrastructure.
From office, make more call to TM 100 centre, and some guys there told me that TM is in the midst of cabling upgrading and maintenance but they won't tell the specific area. Duh.
When I google this issue, apparently the syndrome is not only isolated to me but more. See the list below. Gawd!

Apparently, veteran bloggers and surfers has rebranded Streamyx to Screamyx, Shitmyx, Slowyx.
This is a typical problem in Malaysia where a service providers deliver low quality services and are not reprimanded by the government. End up, the rakyat waste their money paying for nothing. The rakyat have no choice either as those service is monopoly by one company.

Disclaimer: Arabs, read at your own discretion. This piece is objectively racist (whatever that means).
I'll start by saying that I am an Arab, descendant of Ramses someway or another (i.e. Egyptian), who believes in Allah and that prophet Muhammad is his messenger. I am also a few other things which are irrelevant here.
Now let me start over. Arabs suck.
Isn't this what we've been taught in school. Pre-Islamic Arabia was in shatters. I happen to agree.
Arabs used to burry their infant girls alive, tribes went to war for decades in a row, cursing each other in their poems, enslaving people, and being extremely narrow minded with absolutely no tolerance. I think we weren't taught wrong at school. Surrounded by two empires, Persia and Rome, none of them cared to seize control of Arabia. Nothing but headache out of doing that.
God decided to take on the challenge, and send his message (Islam) to that lousy group of people. And sure it was a challenge, a new religion to a group of intolerant, stubborn, and violent bunch of desert dwellers. Sure it was a challenge, they sent 60 men, one from each tribe, to kill the prophet. He's one of you, assholes. They threw him with rocks in AlTae'f, and drove him out of Mecca.
Eventually, God proved His point. He ruled, and His message got through. Even Arabs can be tamed with Islam. For a while there, Arabs (most of them) did understand Islam well, were able to follow it properly, to rule and govern right. Did you see what happened when we did that, a Muslim civilization arose, from Andalusia and southern Europe out to China. Spread by the sword, by the merchants, or by the good deeds and words of the people, whatever. It spread, the empire was strong, science, culture, art and humans developed, and the standard of living was reaching new peaks.
So what's gone wrong now?! (something we're not told about in schools). Arabs are being themselves again, misunderstand and misuse Islam, and even worse, claim that our ill traditions are part of Islam. Burry our women alive (instead of infant girls), go to war with each other, enslave those less fortunate than us, becoming again intolerant and narrow minded. Well, God ain't gonna challenge us again, we've had our chance. God and His messenger are not going to be there for us all the time, dammit. We're on our own now.
Its our turn to take it on again, no guidance, and no help to show us the way. Give up those fucked up old Arab/Pharaonic/Pakistani/... traditions, and embrace the tolerant Islamic values without staining them with our cultural ills.
Oh, and regarding Arab nationalism. Arab nationalism my ass. Its never gonna happen.
I should have another piece on how Egyptians suck. But just quickly, if Islam was able to tame the Arabs for a while, it stood helpless with Egyptians and couldn't mend them! And yet, some how Egyptians were able to get their country praised in the Quran a few times. We really know how to get our way with the authorities, eh!
Think Arabs are better than that? Refute my claims. Think Arabs are just that, no need to mention it again, thanks.
Ok, do I really have to be fair?! Traditional Arabs are generous and good hosts, and are the native-speakers of a great language. That doesn't balance things out though.

Talking about behavior, there is plenty for the Barisan Nasional representatives to think about and adopt it. It's not only about racial or corruption.
To the elected representatives of Barisan Nasional or Pakatan Rakyat, avoid the following or else .... live with the title Yang Bahlol or Yang Bodoh or Yang Babi.
* Don't create religious issue.
* No more supporting space program. No more sending Kenot up to space.
* No more Mat Rempit. Mat Rempit are snatch thief just like KJ. Ngam betul.
* Don't become the Chief Minister or Menteri Besar or PM for over 2 terms. 2 terms is already very lama.
* No more canceling mega project and paid unnecessary compensation.
* No more bailing out of losers companies like Proton or MAS.
* Babi is God creature you know.
* No more awarding tenders to your own kaki. Haram.
* Cabinet is for tabling of budget and planning for the nation future. Not about worrying for toilet leakage or block drains.
* Don't send delegates to oversea just to carry Badawi luggages.
* No more angkat keris.

Be on your best behaviour, PM tells Barisan reps
KUALA LUMPUR: Stay clear of racist remarks, don’t be corrupt or arrogant and serve the people well.
These are part of the guidelines outlined by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi when he gave Barisan Nasional elected representatives a pep talk yesterday.
He said it was important for Members of Parliament and state assemblymen to understand the rules of debate, adding they should understand government policies in order to be effective during the sessions.
“It is also important that they conduct themselves with decorum to ensure the debates are of substance and quality,” he told reporters after the meeting yesterday.
“I also reminded them that the Sedition Act could be enforced if there are issues which are racially sensitive. They are not free to say whatever they want and which are against the law.”
He said that being in Parliament did not give them immunity to say whatever they liked on race and religion in a way which could create tension and problems among the communities.
Abdullah emphasised that they should work hard for the people in their respective constituencies and not become arrogant or involved in corruption.
“I hope the wakil rakyat from Barisan Nasional will not inherit such traits. They must steer away from such actions that are not accepted by the rakyat,” he said.
Abdullah reminded them to monitor the progress of projects in their areas and to alert the relevant ministries if they discovered projects had been abandoned or encountered problems.
The Barisan chairman also emphasised the need to have a strong bond among the Barisan component parties so that each leader can cooperate well to give their full attention to all races.
“Do not become a wakil rakyat who cares only for your own race or those associated to your own party,” he said.
Abdullah also told elected representatives from states now under Pakatan Rakyat to continue serving the people, adding that they were now the opposition there.
